The area around the pier allows for the peaceful interaction of an array of marine life as no swimming, snorkeling or diving is allowed within 150ft of the fishing pier and camera.

Deerfield Beach is on the southeastern shores of Florida just 20 minutes north of Fort Lauderdale.

We loved this place when it was Lemongrass Asian Bistro. We will be going to SpiceSea Seafood & Thai when we are in town next to see if the new owners are as amazing as Lemongrass was.  There is outdoor seating when the weather is nice. They also have Take-Out!

La Spada's Original Hoagies

LaSpada’s has been feeding South Florida since 1974 but the story really began in Chester, PA where hoagies originated.      Our family never misses an opportunity to stop at LaSpada’s on the way to the beach. We though call them subs, not hoagies. But whatever the name, there is always tons of meat  & cheese, fresh local bread, and incredible service.

THE BEST CUBAN SANDWICHES, and coffee, and fried plantains, etc. etc. etc. Only open for breakfast and lunch but we love love love this place. How can you come to South Florida and miss having an authentic Cuban sandwich or media noche?

Our most recent guests suggested we include Sushi Song Thai as another “place for good food, if you like sushi.”   They used Door Dash for the delivery; something I have not used yet but hopefully will one day when I figure out how it works :-)!
